Job Description:

Are you an experienced and proactive Conveyancing Assistant looking to develop your career in a supportive and fast-paced environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and expanding Residential Conveyancing team at a well-respected law firm, offering real progression potential and hands-on experience in a busy department.

Job Responsibility:

Providing comprehensive administrative support to Conveyancers to help manage busy caseloads
Using a Case Management System to maintain accurate, up-to-date files and documentation
Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties via telephone and email
Handling inbound and outbound correspondence in line with agreed service levels
Requesting property searches, AML checks, and final searches
Preparing and submitting contract packs to purchasers
Assisting with the exchange process, including chasing and exchanging contracts when required
Supporting Fee Earners by monitoring their inbox during non-working days
Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Previous experience in a residential conveyancing role is essential
Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiar with case management systems
A team player with a proactive and conscientious approach to work
Committed to delivering excellent client service and maintaining high professional standards
