A highly regarded, multi-service law firm based in Macclesfield is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to support a friendly and supportive property team. This role would suit someone from a legal administration or legal secretarial background, ideally with conveyancing experience.
Job Responsibility:
Liaising effectively with clients and third parties over the phone, in writing, and occasionally face-to-face, providing advice and assistance
Chasing various documentation, including ID, mortgage offers, and searches
Keeping the case management system and any third-party websites up to date in real time
Preparing documentation required throughout the conveyancing process
Preparing completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices
Handling post-exchange matters as directed by the team manager
Overseeing completions on the day of completion
Ensuring clients and introducers receive the best possible service at all times
General administrative support
Requirements:
