In this context, our client is seeking a resourceful Conversational UX Designer to join their team. You will design and optimize conversational experiences for their digital assistant, ensuring interactions are natural, clear, and aligned with both customer needs and business objectives. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping how customers interact with the digital assistant, translating complex banking processes into intuitive conversational flows while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across UX, data, AI, and product development.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, write, and optimize conversational flows, prompts, and dialogue scenarios for the digital assistant Kate
  • Translate complex banking processes into clear and user-friendly conversational experiences
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Conduct user research and testing, analyze conversation data, and iterate based on insights
  • Set up and evaluate A/B tests to improve dialogue performance and customer experience
  • Safeguard and further refine the tone of voice of the digital assistant
  • Work closely with AI and data teams to improve conversational models and performance

Requirements

  • Experience in UX writing, conversational design, or a similar UX or digital content role
  • Strong language skills in Dutch, with good knowledge of English
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and empathetic user-facing content
  • Understanding of AI-driven products, conversational interfaces, and chatbot principles (NLU/NLP)
  • Experience with UX prototyping or collaboration tools such as Figma or Miro
  • Ability to think in conversation flows and user journeys rather than static screens
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional product or digital teams
