Job Description

Our client is seeking a Conversational Experience Designer with at least 7 years of conversational UX experience as well as knowledge of the healthcare or insurance industry for a remote contract role.

Job Responsibility

  • Help frame the most important user tasks to solve by contributing UX insight during early discovery
  • Identify where usability, comprehension, trust, or interaction breakdowns create friction across voice and chat experiences

Requirements

  • Experience designing conversational experiences for AI assistants, chatbots, virtual assistants, or voice enabled products
  • Strong writing, interaction design, and systems-thinking skills
  • Experience designing multi-turn dialogue, fallback behavior, and recovery patterns
  • Ability to connect user insight to product direction, not just interface execution

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI or LLM-powered products
  • Experience designing across both chat and voice modalities
  • Familiarity with regulated or high-trust environments
