Job Description:

The ControlsTechnology Lead will own and drive the end-to-end technology book of work serving the Chief Operating Office (COO). This role is responsible for portfolio planning, prioritization, delivery governance, funding stewardship, risk & controls alignment, and value realization across COO strategic initiatives (e.g., operations automation, risk & controls tooling, workforce enablement, operational analytics, and process digitization). The ideal candidate blends portfolio leadership, delivery execution, and stakeholder management—translating COO business outcomes into a clear, executable roadmap with measurable impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish and maintain the multi-year technology roadmap aligned to COO strategy, enterprise architecture, finance, and risk mandates
  • Run the annual planning and quarterly reprioritization cycles: intake, scoping, sizing, dependency mapping, funding alignment, and sequencing
  • Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, product, architecture, cyber, risk & compliance, data, and business operations
  • Drive SDLC/SDLC-adjacent governance (requirements, design reviews, testing strategy, change management) and ensure production readiness
  • Resolve impediments, manage dependencies and critical paths, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Act as the primary technology point of contact for COO leadership
  • provide executive-ready updates and steerco materials
  • Facilitate Steering Committees, Portfolio Review Boards, and Architecture Review Board engagements
  • Align with enterprise partners (Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, Vendor Management, Enterprise Architecture) to accelerate delivery
  • Identify and deliver AI‑driven and automation opportunities across COO operations, including generative AI, predictive analytics, workflow intelligence, and robotic process automation (RPA)
  • Drive efficiency programs, targeting measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, throughput, and cost-to-serve
