Job Responsibility
Design, implement, and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment
Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment
Perform machine power up, debug and programming
Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approach
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, OR an Associate's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience with JR Automation or within the automation industry is strongly preferred
Experience working with one or more of the following: PLCs, HMIs, robotics, mechatronics, motion control systems, vision systems, and/or programming
Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks is preferred
Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings
Willingness and ability to travel 35–50% to customer sites and other JR Automation locations
JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check
Nice to have
Prior experience with JR Automation or within the automation industry is strongly preferred
Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks is preferred
