We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team in San Diego, California. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has expertise in document management and financial oversight. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate recordkeeping, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee financial records and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations
Manage document control processes, including organizing, scanning, and maintaining essential records
Implement and maintain systems for compiling and archiving financial and operational documents
Review and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership
Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive information to maintain confidentiality
Collaborate with team members to improve document management workflows and efficiency
Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
Develop and enforce policies related to document scanning and control
Train staff on proper procedures for document handling and compliance
Support audits and other regulatory processes by providing necessary documentation
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or controlling roles
Proficiency in document control processes, including scanning and organization
Strong ability to compile, analyze, and maintain accurate records
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Familiarity with document scanning software and systems
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
