We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Controller to oversee and manage document control processes in our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling, organizing, and maintaining sensitive documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee the accounting team and department operations
Produce monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and WIP
Monitor and adjust project budgets as needed
Manage cash flow, forecasts, and monthly bank reconciliations
Ensure tax filings, payments, and regulatory compliance are met on time
Oversee subcontractor payables and required compliance documentation
Track union labor and ensure accurate, timely benefit contributions
Partner with project managers and executives to support business objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar background
5+ years of construction accounting experience with a general contractor
Proven people management and team leadership experience
Hands-on experience with Vista/Viewpoint or comparable systems
Strong knowledge of construction financial reporting, payments, and union compliance
Highly organized, analytical, and effective communicator
