Controller

• Own the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and cash flow
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance in coordination with external auditors and tax professionals
• Ensure adherence to healthcare industry regulations and financial reporting requirements
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making

• Experience with hands-on month-end close & financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and cash flow management
• Ability to work directly with executive leadership and provide financial analysis
• Experience in a scaling company or high-growth environment is a plus
• CPA or public accounting experience is a plus but not required
