This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations within the retail industry while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Perform data entry tasks related to dealer statements and submissions, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly categorized
Review and process schedules, identifying discrepancies and addressing potential issues promptly
Collaborate with banking systems to oversee transactions related to manufacturing, parts, and other financial statements
Support the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial reporting is accurate
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership, asking pertinent questions and providing actionable insights
Provide guidance to office staff, including AR/AP clerks, title clerks, and deal clerks, ensuring smooth workflow and operations
Analyze financial data to offer recommendations and ensure the business remains financially healthy
Work closely with off-site clerks to ensure consistency and accuracy across all financial processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in automotive sales or dealership finance
Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and procedures
Ability to manage deal execution with attention to detail
Familiarity with banking systems and financial statement processing
Excellent communication skills with the ability to ask critical questions and provide clear direction
Proficiency in data entry and financial analysis
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial schedules
Experience in managing a team and collaborating across departments
