Job Description:

Rapidly growing oil and gas services company is looking for an experienced Controller for their organization. This Controller will lead the financial operations, providing insightful analysis and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This is a hands-on role, overseeing everything from financial reporting to budgeting.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
Lead financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Ensure seamless integration and use of NetSuite for financial data management (preferred)
Work closely with leadership to analyze financial performance and present insights/reports
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Mentor and develop members of the company's finance team to build operational capacity
Collaborate with operational teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies
Oversee cash flow management and identify areas to optimize performance

Requirements:

CPA certification strongly preferred (or hold an active equivalent professional license)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advanced degrees a plus)
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience (ideally, in the oil and gas services industry)
Proficiency with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems is preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with audit processes
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Proven ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with finance modeling

Nice to have:

Proficiency in NetSuite or similar financial systems
Advanced degrees in Accounting or Finance
