Job Responsibility

  • Direct the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Lead the close process across all reporting periods, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and general ledger oversight
  • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Analyze financial and operational data from multiple systems to evaluate revenue trends, cost drivers, and overall business performance
  • Build and maintain accounting policies, reporting procedures, and internal controls that protect company assets and support reliable financial information
  • Oversee cash flow planning, annual budgeting, and forecast updates to help leadership make informed decisions
  • Supervise accounts payable activities and payment processing to maintain strong vendor relationships and effective cash management
  • Coordinate audit support, tax preparation activities, and compliance requirements while assisting with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation required
  • additional advanced accounting or finance credentials are a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong exposure to public accounting or similarly rigorous financial environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, month-end close, budgeting, and internal control practices
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP platforms such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, and related financial systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to other company locations when needed
