We are looking for a dedicated Controller to lead and manage critical financial operations in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves overseeing accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and collaborate closely with plant leadership and executive teams to drive organizational success.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end close processes
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reports in compliance with US GAAP standards
Manage multi-entity accounting functions, including intercompany transactions and eliminations
Strengthen internal controls and implement standardized accounting policies across multiple facilities
Monitor daily cash flow, conduct liquidity forecasting, and support vendor payment prioritization to align with financial objectives
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately measure production costs and operational efficiency
Collaborate with plant leadership to analyze labor efficiency, material usage, and margin performance
Support budgeting processes, rolling forecasts, and provide scenario modeling for strategic planning
Drive process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and reduce close timelines
Lead and mentor a small accounting team, fostering collaboration and growth focused on attention to detail
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP principles
At least 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3 or more years in manufacturing or industrial sectors
Experience in cost accounting and financial reporting within private-equity-backed or turnaround environments is preferred
Proven ability to manage cash flow, cost accounting, and lender compliance reporting
Familiarity with standard costing systems and manufacturing processes
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to support financial decision-making
Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in developing and managing teams effectively
