Job Description

Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization in Government Camp, Oregon. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and driving strategic fiscal decisions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing month-end close processes and have a strong ability to lead and optimize financial systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights into organizational performance
  • Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members to enhance productivity and support their development
  • Optimize financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a Controller or similar senior financial role
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments
