In this long-term contract role, you will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, tax compliance, and monthly closings
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and evaluate financial performance
Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and compliance standards across all operations
Lead and mentor a small finance team, providing guidance on daily tasks and supporting their growth and development
Collaborate with departments across the organization to deliver financial insights and support business objectives
Drive the implementation and enhancement of financial tools such as Zoho and QuickBooks to streamline workflows and improve reporting
Conduct variance analyses to identify trends and offer actionable recommendations for improvement
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts to align with organizational goals and strategic priorities
Perform periodic audits and review internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
Optimize financial systems to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end closings
Strong expertise in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to provide actionable insights
Familiarity with financial tools such as Zoho and QuickBooks
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a finance setting
Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on variance analysis and forecasting
