Controller

• Partner with organizational leadership to enhance financial operations and support key business initiatives
• Design, implement, and maintain financial systems and internal controls that ensure compliance and promote efficiency
• Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals
• Produce timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making
• Manage relationships with external financial partners and service providers
• Oversee payroll administration, benefits processes, and related employee financial programs
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and provide regular financial updates to governing bodies or executive stakeholders
• Support team development by training and mentoring new staff members
• Stay current on financial trends, regulatory updates, and best practices through ongoing professional development
• Perform daily accounting activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing

• Demonstrated experience with month‑end close activities and preparation of financial statements
• Proficiency with modern financial software and accounting tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex financial data
• Effective leadership and communication abilities for working across diverse teams
• Solid understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks in financial operations
• Proven success in developing and maintaining financial policies and internal controls
• Experience with budgeting processes and payroll administration
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
