Controller

• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and related reporting activities
• Monitor and streamline accounts payable processes to maintain efficiency and accuracy
• Develop and manage annual budgets, addressing fiscal year complexities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Supervise month-end and year-end closings to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial planning and decision-making
• Maintain a consistent and short close period while upholding high standards of accuracy
• Ensure adherence to healthcare industry regulations and accounting standards
• Utilize Dynamics to manage general ledger and financial reporting
• Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages attention to detail and supports long-term employee retention

• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a Controller role
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, audit processes, and general ledger management
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal year complexities
• Expertise in month-end and year-end closings with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar financial systems
• Ability to lead and develop a small team while fostering collaboration
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required
• Commitment to maintaining a consistent work schedule with limited overtime
