We are looking for an accomplished Controller to oversee accounting operations for a high-growth organization with domestic and international business activity. This role will guide financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support leadership with timely insights that help drive sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in multi-entity accounting, manufacturing and distribution finance, and team leadership within a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Direct day-to-day accounting activities across core functions such as payables, receivables, payroll, and the general ledger
Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycle to deliver accurate results across multiple business entities
Build and maintain a strong control environment by refining accounting policies, reviewing procedures, and promoting compliance with applicable regulations
Produce consolidated financial statements and management reports for executive leadership, highlighting performance trends and key business drivers
Partner with operations, supply chain, production, and human resources leaders to align financial oversight with company objectives
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners while coordinating audit and compliance activities
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support operational needs and long-term growth
Supervise and develop the accounting team, fostering accountability, accuracy, and continued career advancement
Administer cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard costing, landed cost review, and analysis of import and export expenses
Monitor financial considerations tied to international operations and overseas manufacturing to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility within a corporate or multi-entity environment
Strong command of financial reporting, consolidations, and generally accepted accounting principles
Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing and distribution operations, including both business-to-business and business-to-consumer models
Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory controls, freight, tariffs, and landed cost analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, lookup functions, and PivotTables
