Job Description:

This position plays a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate reporting to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring leadership capabilities, a strong analytical mindset, and a hands-on approach to managing financial processes.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to align financial goals with organizational objectives
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes efficiently
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration
Support tax preparation efforts and ensure timely filings
Streamline accounting systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, preferably within the retail industry
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams
Proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and general accounting functions
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal control practices
