Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead and oversee our organization's accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This role requires a highly analytical individual with a strong background in cost analysis and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities to guide the accounting team while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and coordinate annual audit activities
  • Conduct cost analysis to identify variances and profitability trends, recommending strategies for operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives
  • Evaluate and improve accounting policies, procedures, and systems to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis and financial modeling
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory standards
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
