We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will oversee critical financial processes and ensure the accuracy of documentation and compliance with organizational standards. Job Responsibility:
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Manage the scanning and digital storage of documents to maintain an organized and secure database
Compile and review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission or archiving
Develop and implement procedures for document control to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely updates and accessibility of records
Maintain a high standard for document scanning and archiving practices to prevent data loss or errors
Conduct regular audits of records to verify accuracy and adherence to established protocols
Provide training and support to staff on document management systems and best practices
Collaborate with external partners or auditors to meet reporting requirements and deadlines
Identify opportunities for process improvement in document control and implement necessary changes
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control or a related field
Proficiency in document scanning and digital archiving systems
Strong ability to compile, review, and organize large volumes of documentation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with compliance standards and financial regulations
Proven track record of implementing efficient document management processes
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders
Experience with auditing and maintaining accurate records
