Orlando area company is looking for a Controller. The company is looking for a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Controller will include, but not limited to the following.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close, and internal controls
Prepare and review board reporting packages, ensuring complete, accurate, and actionable financial insights for executive leadership and the board of directors
Monitor, interpret, and report on compliance with debt covenants
maintain communication with lenders and proactively manage any issues or reporting requirements
Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Implement and improve accounting procedures and financial controls as needed
Support external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support growth and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience
Analytical problem solving skills
Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
