Controller

• Supervise all financial accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies
• Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Lead the annual budgeting process and manage ongoing financial forecasting to support strategic initiatives
• Develop and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, collaborating with external partners as needed
• Manage relationships with auditors and ensure the timely completion of audit processes
• Optimize accounting systems and streamline financial processes to improve workflow and reporting accuracy
• Provide financial insights and variance analysis to executive leadership to support decision-making
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, encouraging attention to detail and maintaining high performance standards
• Ensure alignment of financial operations with healthcare performance metrics and reimbursement requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management
• Proficiency in maintaining internal controls and managing financial reporting processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate across departments
• Familiarity with tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability in all aspects of financial management
