Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll oversight, cash management, and fixed assets
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
Partner with operations, FP& A, and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for restaurant performance
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Support internal and external audits, as well as tax preparation processes
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices within a growing multi-unit environment
Mentor and develop junior accounting staff
Support future M& A and/or IPO initiatives by preparing due diligence materials and providing transaction-related accounting support
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
CPA (or actively pursuing) strongly preferred
5–15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial capacity
