Controller

• Oversee and support the accounting team to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet, bank accounts, and other financial statements
• Prepare for audits by reviewing financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage fixed assets and ensure accurate reporting and tracking
• Create and establish organizational structures to improve financial processes and systems
• Lead month-end and year-end close procedures to maintain timely and accurate financial reporting
• Ensure proper fund and grant accounting practices are followed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address audit-related findings and implement corrective measures
• Provide strategic guidance to enhance the organization’s financial stability and long-term growth

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management
• In-depth knowledge of account reconciliation practices, including balance sheet and bank accounts
• Strong experience with financial audits and compliance requirements
• Background in grant accounting and fund accounting
• Expertise in month-end and year-end close procedures
• Ability to manage fixed assets and ensure accurate reporting
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
