We are looking for a Controller to lead financial stewardship and accounting operations for a manufacturing organization based in Rogers, Arkansas. This position plays a central role in delivering reliable financial reporting, strengthening compliance, and supporting business decisions with clear analysis and sound controls. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, operational accounting knowledge, and the ability to partner effectively with executives across the company.
Job Responsibility
Direct day-to-day accounting activities across receivables, payables, payroll, cash activity, reconciliations, and sales-related financial processing
Maintain the general ledger and produce timely internal reporting, including financial summaries, historical analysis, inventory reconciliation, and cost reviews tied to labor and operations
Lead and develop accounting and administrative team members by reviewing work, providing guidance, and promoting consistent, compliant practices
Manage credit assessments, purchasing-related financial oversight, and documentation associated with international shipments, trade activity, and related bond or insurance requirements
Oversee inventory and freight accounting processes, ensuring accurate tracking of logistics costs and alignment with operational records
Coordinate regulatory and tax compliance activities, including payroll reporting, multi-state filings, audit support, and employment-related documentation requirements
Administer employee benefit programs by handling enrollments, reconciling vendor invoices, supporting annual testing, and working with external providers on plan administration
Strengthen internal controls, monitor key business systems and access safeguards, and partner with outside specialists on technology, insurance, and other administrative services
Provide financial insight to senior leadership and contribute to strategic initiatives such as ownership transactions, board-level planning, and broader business growth efforts
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Demonstrated success leading full-cycle accounting and financial reporting in a complex business environment with multiple entities or jurisdictions
Strong knowledge of general ledger management, reconciliations, payroll, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance
Experience supervising staff and reviewing accounting work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to policy
Ability to analyze inventory, costing, and operational financial data within a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with benefits administration, audit coordination, and vendor management for outsourced services
Strong judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities to support executives and cross-functional stakeholders
