Controller

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
• Direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports to support organizational goals
• Compile and present monthly financial statements in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by coordinating the preparation of necessary reports
• Investigate and resolve complex accounting issues to uphold compliance standards
• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal reporting requirements, including tax filings
• Strengthen internal controls by developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the organization’s financial objectives

• Proven track record as a Controller in a corporate or business unit setting
• A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in accounting and finance
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and standards
• Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze, and review financial statements
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and business analytics tools, including Microsoft Power BI
• At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
• CPA certification or equivalent credentials preferred but not mandatory
