We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the Investment Advisory industry, located in Ontario, California. The chosen candidate will be a crucial part of our team, focusing on various accounting functions, property management tasks, and commercial real estate activities.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Engage in budget processes to ensure financial efficiency
Handle commercial real estate investments, contributing to the company's financial growth
Participate in commercial property management, ensuring optimal use of resources
Use your real estate experience to contribute to the company's strategic decisions
Participate in lease negotiations to secure advantageous terms
Oversee refinancing processes to optimize the company's capital structure
Involve in real estate acquisitions, contributing to the expansion of the company's portfolio
Manage multiple legal entities, ensuring compliance and efficient operations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
CPA designation is highly preferred but not mandatory
A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate accounting, property management finance, or controllership roles
Proficiency in Accounting Functions, with the ability to manage financial data, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), including processing invoices, managing vendor relations, and ensuring timely payments
Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), including generating invoices, tracking payments, and managing customer accounts
Knowledge of Budget Processes, with the ability to develop, implement, and monitor financial plans and budgets
Experience in Commercial Real Estate Investment, with skills in analyzing property values, predicting future trends, and making investment recommendations
Understanding of Commercial Real Estate, with the ability to manage property transactions, negotiate leases, and maintain property records
Proficiency in Commercial Property Management, including overseeing property maintenance, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance
