Controller

• Lead the month‑end close process and prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Develop, manage, and refine budgeting and forecasting models
• Partner with the CFO on strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting
• Oversee and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and effective workflow
• Monitor, track, and analyze expenses across the business
• Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and daily treasury management activities
• Create, implement, and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Maintain the integrity of financial systems and data, including Yardi

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency with Yardi is required
• Proven leadership experience managing an accounting team
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and drive insights
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
