Job Description:

This key leadership role will oversee finance, accounting, reporting, forecasting, and risk management functions. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional with manufacturing experience and exposure to M&A transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, a strategic mindset, and a track record of driving operational and financial excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Finance, Accounting & Risk Management - Oversee finance, accounting, treasury, and risk management operations of the company
Strategic Planning & M&A Preparation - Lead financial due diligence efforts and assist private equity investors in preparing the company for a potential sale
Financial Analysis & Reporting – Extract, analyze, interpret, and report financial data for financial and operational performance, including performance against budgets and key business metrics

Requirements:

Prior experience preparing a company for sale (M&A, due diligence, private equity, or investment banking exposure) is highly preferred
Previous experience in government contracting/accounting strongly preferred, specifically with the Department of Defense (DoD)
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
CPA preferred
MBA is a plus
