We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a long-term contract basis in West Chester, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations and ensure the organization's compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This position involves collaborating with senior leadership, managing the accounting team, and driving financial strategy to support organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
  • Lead the processes for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings
  • Prepare and evaluate financial statements in alignment with US GAAP and/or IFRS standards
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to guide financial decision-making
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide actionable financial insights and support business strategies
  • Mentor and oversee the accounting team to enhance their growth and performance
  • Drive system implementations and process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in month-end closing procedures and financial audits
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
