The Controller will be responsible for the accounting, financial planning, reporting, and administrative duties for a family office that invests and manages residential and commercial properties.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the overall cash management, management of bank accounts, and bank reconciliations
Manage all AP/AR approvals and review monthly reports
Review general ledger entries for all payments
Prepare and distribute financial statements/other reports and analyses as needed
Coordinate the biweekly payroll process and act as liaison with the firm’s payroll company
Maintain records for taxes and other items withheld from payroll
Maintain and monitor a calendar of due dates for accounting processes, financial reports, and tax filings
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
5-7 years of related accounting experience
Knowledge of Sage Intacct and QuickBooks preferred
Prior experience at a family office a plus
Nice to have:
