Job Description:

A well-established Metro Detroit manufacturing and service company with over 60 years of industry leadership is seeking a Controller to join its team due to an upcoming retirement. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role at a stable, growth-oriented company that values operational excellence and long-term relationships.

Job Responsibility:

lead month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting
manage job costing and cost accounting processes
supervise and mentor two accounting staff
ensure accuracy and efficiency using Syspro ERP
collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and performance

Requirements:

7+ years of accounting/finance experience in manufacturing
strong knowledge of job costing, month-end close, and financials
experience supervising accounting staff
proficiency in Syspro ERP
CPA designation is a strong plus
must be comfortable working on-site

Nice to have:

CPA designation is a strong plus
