Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team in Lexington, South Carolina, on a Contract to permanent basis. This role requires expertise in managing month-end close processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Prepare and reconcile monthly accounts to maintain precise financial records
Post month-end journal entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations
Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and policies
Assist with other accounting and financial tasks as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in managing month-end close processes
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of monthly account reconciliation and journal entries
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
