This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead document management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and document control, combined with expertise in GAAP accounting and variance analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee document control processes, including scanning, compiling, and organizing documents
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards
Lead month-end close activities, including consolidations and variance analysis
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Coordinate and implement efficient document scanning workflows
Review and improve processes related to financial reporting and documentation
Provide support for audits and ensure proper documentation is available
Collaborate with other departments to streamline document management and financial procedures
Monitor and maintain compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
Develop and present financial reports to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
Proven experience in document control and document scanning processes
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
Demonstrated expertise in consolidations and month-end close activities
Ability to perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations
Familiarity with compiling and organizing large volumes of documents
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders
Proficiency in financial systems and tools for managing reports and documentation
