Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee all financial reporting and compliance processes, including SOX compliance requirements
Manage and mentor the accounting team to ensure attention to detail in development and high performance
Ensure accurate documentation and scanning of financial records to maintain organized and accessible information
Compile and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
Oversee document control processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial operations
Develop and implement streamlined processes for efficient document management
Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting to support business objectives
Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting systems to identify areas for improvement
Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership role
Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory requirements
Expertise in document control, scanning, and compiling financial records
Solid technical accounting skills with the ability to address complex issues
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop accounting teams
Excellent organizational and analytical skills for handling financial data
Familiarity with financial systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency
Effective communication skills to work across departments and with external partners
