Controller

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and cash flow forecasts
• Collaborate with the executive team to provide actionable financial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Support acquisition-related activities such as due diligence, integration, and establishing financial controls for new entities
• Ensure compliance with debt and lender reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner
• Develop and enhance internal financial policies, systems, and controls to ensure operational efficiency
• Supervise and mentor bookkeeping and administrative staff, encouraging attention to detail and growth
• Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance efforts in partnership with external advisors
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to align with private equity sponsor expectations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including holding a Controller position
• Proven experience managing accounting for companies with revenues between $50–100M, with multi-entity expertise being a plus
• Familiarity with private equity-backed environments or direct experience with debt and lender reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and a track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
• Exposure to M&A activities such as due diligence, integration, or roll-up processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage projects and mentor staff effectively
• Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and leadership teams to support business growth
