Controller

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Manage month-end and year-end closings to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and implement effective internal controls to safeguard financial data and compliance
• Prepare regulatory filings and ensure adherence to federal and state financial regulations
• Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team to optimize performance
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational financial planning
• Partner with external auditors during audits and reviews to ensure transparency
• Monitor and manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Use accounting software proficiently to streamline financial processes and reporting
• Collaborate with leadership to improve financial strategies and operational efficiency

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or financial management
• Proficiency in document control and scanning processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
