Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to lead accounting process improvements and optimize system efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations and significant experience with D365 systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate and enhance existing accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Oversee the cleanup and restructuring of D365 systems to ensure stability and optimal functionality
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales operations
  • Design and implement governance maps and permission structures within the system
  • Develop and organize file structures and SharePoint libraries for improved data management
  • Create dashboards to provide actionable insights into financial performance
  • Analyze inherited data and establish best practices for its organization
  • Generate detailed financial reports and key performance indicators for decision-making
  • Ensure the chart of accounts is properly configured and address any necessary adjustments
  • Work with the accounting department to drive improvements in day-to-day operations

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting leadership roles
  • Proven expertise in D365 system implementation and cleanup
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and process improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Ability to design and manage governance maps and permission structures
  • Proficiency in creating dashboards and generating KPIs
  • Experience working with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales operations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
