Controller

• Lead the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning and performance
• Prepare detailed financial statements in compliance with industry standards
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting staff, fostering growth and collaboration
• Act as the primary liaison during audits, ensuring compliance and efficient communication
• Analyze manufacturing costs and implement cost accounting practices to optimize operations
• Oversee inventory management processes to maintain accuracy and control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations and reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams effectively
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and month-end close processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not required
