Controller

• Manage financial reporting and general ledger tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, providing guidance to team members
• Coordinate payroll processing using Paylocity, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Utilize Excel extensively for financial data analysis and reporting
• Work closely with three team members to ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes for greater efficiency
• Maintain document control and organization, including scanning and compiling essential records
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support organizational goals and financial decision-making

• Proven experience in financial management or as a Controller
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with payroll systems, particularly Paylocity
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ability to manage and organize financial documents effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Experience working with financial systems such as Northstar is a plus
