Job Description:

Our client is looking to add a highly skilled Controller to oversee critical financial operations and reporting processes to their team! This role requires an experienced individual with a strong background in accounting and financial management to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all financial activities. The ideal candidate will excel in leadership and possess a detail-oriented mindset to drive organizational success.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and maintenance of accounts
Lead financial audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with regulatory and company standards
Ensure adherence to SEC reporting requirements and manage associated documentation
Conduct variance analyses to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Develop and implement financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting operations and enhance overall performance
Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with SEC reporting standards and requirements
Proven ability to perform variance analyses and interpret financial data
Demonstrated experience in conducting and managing financial audits
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams
