This role involves overseeing critical financial operations and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. As a key leader within the finance department, you will drive accuracy and efficiency in reporting, analysis, and forecasting. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to lead impactful processes and collaborate across multiple departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage all accounting and financial reporting functions in accordance with organizational compliance standards
  • Lead and enhance the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and improve operational efficiency
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including evaluating trends, costs, and budgeting performance
  • Develop detailed forecasts for income, expenses, and earnings to support strategic decision-making
  • Coordinate an annual budget process involving collaboration with branch managers across multiple locations
  • Prepare for and oversee annual audit engagements, ensuring compliance and readiness
  • Administer treasury operations and cash management activities effectively
  • Supervise weekly payroll processes across multiple states to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Oversee the fleet payment program and maintain its operational integrity
  • Prepare tax schedules and ensure corporate income tax compliance in alignment with regulations

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in document control, scanning, and compiling financial records
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting
  • Expertise in monthly account reconciliation and accrual processes
  • Experience in management reporting and financial analysis
  • Ability to lead budgeting processes and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with treasury management and payroll oversight
  • Knowledge of corporate tax compliance and audit preparation
