Controller

• Oversee and manage the accounting department, including functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and general ledger
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the security of company assets and compliance with regulations
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and management reports that support executive decision-making
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning
• Manage audits, tax filings, and relationships with external financial institutions
• Drive process improvements and implement financial systems to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
• Provide financial analysis and insights to guide strategic business decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity
• Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience managing accounting operations for organizations with over 100 employees
• High proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll and tax compliance

Preferred experience in the IT services or Managed Service Provider industry, including process automation initiatives
