Job Description

We’re looking for a Controller to oversee the day‑to‑day accounting function and work closely with ownership on planning and decision‑making. This role is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and well‑suited for someone with manufacturing and cost accounting experience who enjoys keeping things accurate, organized, and moving on time while partnering across the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, close, and financial reporting
  • Manage and improve cost accounting processes related to inventory, WIP, and manufacturing operations
  • Take a hands‑on approach to reviewing work, resolving issues, and ensuring accuracy
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in partnership with ownership
  • Review accounting processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and controls
  • Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end close and adherence to deadlines
  • Work cross‑functionally with operations and leadership to align financial data with business needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with manufacturing and cost accounting exposure
  • Experience in an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller‑level role
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations and close processes
  • Ability to work directly with ownership and provide clear financial insight
  • Collaborative communication style with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and detail‑focused
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
