Job Description:

We’re on the lookout for a talented Controller to lead the accounting operations for a dynamic organization. This newly created role will work closely with management and manage a small team. If you thrive in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and working collaboratively across departments, this might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the financial operations and strategy of the organization while working collaboratively with multiple departments.

Job Responsibility:

GAAP Accounting and reconciliation
Perform accurate and timely cash processing, deposits, and recording in line with internal controls
Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice review, General Ledger coding, approval routing, and timely distribution of payments
Create audit workpapers and perform monthly and annual account reconciliations
Oversee monthly and annual financial close processes and prepare financial analysis reports
Act as a primary contact for external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reconciliations, workpapers, and requested materials
Contribute to budget preparation by working with department leaders and providing timely budget comparison reports throughout the year
Take on special projects, attend meetings, and participate in professional development activities as assigned

Requirements:

Skilled in QuickBooks Online
CPA designation preferred
At least 3 years of accounting experience required
