Controller

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to enhance performance
• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, including tax requirements
• Lead the budgeting process and monitor financial performance, providing variance analysis and actionable insights
• Establish and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with external auditors, managing audit processes and ensuring timely completion
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to enhance financial systems and ensure accurate data integration
• Manage employee records, benefits programs, and personnel matters in coordination with company leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in wholesale distribution or manufacturing
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software, with expertise in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise strongly preferred
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Experience in inventory management and cost accounting
