Our client is seeking an accomplished Controller to become a key business partner to their plant in Northwest Georgia—where your expertise will directly influence performance, innovation, and profitability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and orchestrate plant-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across diverse locations
  • Collaborate with operations and corporate leaders to dissect manufacturing processes, spot inefficiencies, and unlock new cost savings
  • Dive deep into production costs, material usage, and inventory—providing actionable analysis that fuels decision-making
  • Assess operational risks—and implement bold, effective strategies for mitigation and continuous improvement
  • Safeguard compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards, ensuring financial integrity
  • Deliver trusted financial evaluations that shape the organization’s future
  • Facilitate internal and external audits—and set the gold standard for best practices across the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 7 years’ experience in a Controller or similar leadership role within manufacturing
  • Mastery of cost accounting principles and deep GAAP expertise
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and financial software
  • AS400 experience is a major plus
  • Analytical prowess—with a track record for executing impactful process improvements
  • Proven skill in inventory controls, financial statement prep, and KPI reporting
  • Solid experience with month-end close and budgeting/forecasting cycles
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration chops to thrive with cross-functional teams
