Requirements

4+ years of accounting experience (public or private)
Strong accounting foundation with the ability to manage multiple priorities and clients
Experience with QuickBooks and Excel
Someone who is proactive, client-facing, and can hit the ground running

Job Responsibility

Lead accounting for multiple management company clients
Own monthly/quarterly reporting, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and financial oversight
Partner directly with clients and become a trusted point of contact
Mentor junior staff and oversee accounting workflows
Support tax compliance, 1099s, budgeting, and special projects
Collaborate with fund teams on intercompany accounting and operational improvements

Requirements

5–10+ years of accounting experience, in venture capital, private equity, or other alternative investments
Hands-on experience implementing accounting systems or major workflow automation initiatives
Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and turn manual processes into streamlined, data-driven operations
CPA or equivalent preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and management company operations

Requirements

7-10+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the alternative investments industry or an adjacent field
Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) is nice to have
Strong understanding of GAAP, full-cycle operational accounting and industry practices
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, responsible, proactive
Experience in accounting systems, outsourcing administrative work, invoice management, process documentation and system implementation / due diligence on system selection

Job Responsibility

Assist in managing day-to-day financial operations of the firm's Management Company including the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Financial Statement preparation, and FP& A (budgeting, forecasting, general P& L management)
Assist with the preparation of the global consolidated management company budget, along with quarterly updates for forecasted numbers and associated variance analysis
Assist in allocating expenses to the various entities and the automation of allocation processes
Lead the selection & implementation of new Accounting and FP& A software for the Management Company
Improve efficiency on AP/AR side (Bill.com) through outsourced or other solutions
Cross functional communicator with commercial mindset
Can manage to a budget but also understand business needs and adeptly navigate competing priorities
