Job Description:

The Control Tower Data Analyst/Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting real‑time logistics operations across the Construction Logistics Zone at Hinkley Point C. Working closely with Logistics Coordinators and the Control Tower Team Leader, this position ensures smooth communication between delivery acceptance teams, on‑the‑ground traffic marshals, third‑party logistics partners, and outbound delivery functions. The role is responsible for monitoring live operational data, maintaining accurate Fulcrum and asset‑tracking records, and creating dynamic Power BI dashboards that provide visibility of material movements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor material flow along Magenta routes and ensure delivery schedules are met
  • Conduct “go/no‑go” calls and communicate real‑time updates to logistics teams
  • Track delays, incidents, and bottlenecks, escalating critical issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate data in Fulcrum DMS and Control Tower asset tracking
  • Build and update Power BI dashboards and cards
  • Analyse logistics data to identify trends and anticipate issues
  • Communicate operational changes to third‑party logistics partners and internal teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives led by the Control Tower Team Leader
  • Follow Wilson James and site-specific safety policies, reporting concerns immediately

Requirements:

  • Strong Power BI skills and experience with data analysis/reporting tools
  • Good understanding of logistics, supply chain, or construction sector processes
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Fulcrum DMS (or similar systems)
  • CITB Operative H&S Test (required before start date)
  • Ability to work on-site at HPC and meet vetting requirements to obtain an HPC pass
